OK, so I went into WordPress and monkeyed around in there… now these main posts have been tweaked such that I can’t physically swear anymore. Well, kinda. I mean, I disabled two words, F-bombs and the S-word, two words I use very frequently. From now on, any time I type those words in my posts, they get replaced with a new word. Check it out: fuck fuck FUCK Fuck shit SHIT Shit … Other swear words are still enabled (like a certain N-word, as well as “it” [Ni!]), but it’s not part of my lexicon, so there’s no need to spend the time to disable them as I’ll never use them.

The beauty of this is that I don’t have to go through my old posts and erase the profanity in them, they all just get replaced by a simple code I threw into the works. And if I so choose, I can remove the code and make things go back to normal. This also means I can continue to write posts however the fuck I want to write them and they’ll be cleaned up for me. Nifty, huh?

Profanity in the comments are probably not affected by this, so you guys can swear if you want. Likewise I’m not gonna edit profanity out of the comics themselves, as well as the titles for each comic post, should a swear word end up a part of it. Hopefully this is sufficient to appease some important people as well as add that little extra professionalism that is required. Huzzah!
